  Introduction HomeWinding WiresIntroduction

QUCAB Winding wires is a wire coated with a thin layer of insulation enamel, to prevent the wire surfaces from being in a short circuit, when wound into coils. Magnetic flux is created when current flows in the coils. Enamelled winding wires are mainly used in the manufacturing of motors, relays, electromagnets, control devices, appliances, inductors etc. For ease of manufacturing in inductive components most of the wires can be soldered.

Enamelled wires are classified by their diameter (SWG & AWG gauge number or millimeter), temperature class & insulation thickness. Common temperature classes are 130 (Polyester), 155 (“F” class), 180 ( Polysteramide ), 200 (Dual coated) & 220 (Amideimide)°C. In selfsolderable wire i.e. polyurethane 155 & 180 °C temperature class wires are more popular.

Essar Ferro today manufactures a wide range of Enamelled Round Winding Wires of both Copper And Aluminum type by the Brand name “” for use in electrical machines such as motors, generators, transformers, house hold appliances, auto-electricals, electrical hand tools, refrigeration (hermetic) motors, fans, switchgears, coils and relays, ballasts and etc.)
